In 1954, Ada Masotti opened up the first La Perla Lingerie Boutique in Bologna. Inspired by one of the world’s most gentle treasures: the pearl, La Perla’s luxurious and fashionable lingerie is the top of the line.

Boston Brides are able to find the very best wedding lingerie and sleepwear at La Perla Boston in Back Bay.  La Perla designs are made from the finest silks and fabrics and tailored to flatter the female figure in a sleek and sexy way.

La Perla and The Adams Center, Boston’s premier cosmetic surgery and healthy lifestyle center, have come together to celebrate the launch of La Perla’s newest collection: Shape Couture. Ever since, Bernadette Smith and the rest of her 14 Stories team have been planning fabulous same-sex weddings in Boston and around the United States. An Alluring Announcement..

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

Before computers and ink jet printers or paint and stencils, there was a unique form of printing. In the 1400’s Jonathon Gutenberg unintentionally changed the wedding world forever. By creating movable type, he revolutionized the relief printing process. Printmakers were able to ink the letters and images and then press them onto the paper, creating a raised legible imprint. In the 21st century world of weddings, Gutenberg’s little press has created a market for traditional letterpressers. The raised letters and unique impressions produced by the press along with the thick paper and custom colors recreates a beautiful and traditional look. The invitation is the first step to every wedding and a letterpress invitation is a sophisticated option for the classic wedding.

Allure Invitations, a Boston custom invitation company, offers customers individualized invitations for weddings and other special occasions. From save the dates to thank you cards, Allure Invitations will guide you every step of the way. They will help you chose color, paper, size and more. Mara K. Weiner from Allure Invitations is pleased to announce her exclusive ability to offer Boston brides designer letterpressing from The Lettered Olive and Natural Impressions.

The Lettered Olive is a Couture Wedding Letterpress line based out of Charleston, South Carolina. The ultra thick and subtly textured paper defines the couture wedding letterpress. The Lettered Olive is known for its die cut shapes, back of invitation letter pressing, edge painting, laser cut belly wraps and decorative motifs or monograms. Rehearsal Dinner? Check.

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

It’s the night before one of the biggest days of your life – tomorrow you will be fearlessly walking down the aisle. You’ll be celebrating your one-year anniversary in no time and before you know it your driving your first born to kindergarten. One thing that you shouldn’t have to worry about before happily ever after is the stress of your rehearsal dinner. Filled with close friends and family and great food the service at the restaurant should be attentive yet discreet. The atmosphere should be intimate yet allow room for a fabulous dinner party for you and your guests. We believe the rehearsal dinner should be as important as your Boston wedding. It’s time to take advantage of Boston’s best restaurants. The following five restaurants are perfect Boston Rehearsal Dinner locations for an evening of fun and food.

Looking for a little Italian flare? Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse focuses on the simple things in life: good ingredients and good service. With a menu staring handmade pastas and aged beef that cuts like butter the only thing this restaurant is missing is you and your bridal party. Davio’s three different private dining rooms can accommodate up to 100 people for your dinner. We love the antipasto appetizer with the Kobe Sirloin.

Want to stroll through the Boston Commons on your way to dinner? XV Beacon, a boutique hotel located on 15 Beacon Street, is the home of the intimate and modern steakhouse, Mooo Restaurant. With elegant furniture and a beautiful bar Mooo is the perfect location for the modern bride. It’s unique and chic private dinning room, appropriately named The Wine Cellar, seats sixty, giving you and your friends and family the ultimate VIP treatment. The room’s high ceilings are lined with Mooo’s extensive wine menu, truly adding to the distinctive experience.

If steak is a little too heavy for you and your family than try Upstairs on the Square in Cambridge. This prominent local restaurant is known for more than just its zebra accents. Experienced in hosting all things wedding, the owners of Upstairs on the Square will make sure that your rehearsal dinner will flow effortlessly between courses and conversation. You’ll work personally with owners Deborah Hughes and Mary-Catherine Deibel to perfect every detail of the night. Interested in more than just a rehearsal dinner? Upstairs on the Square can even accommodate entire weddings within its Harvard Clubhouse location.

Another one of our favorite restaurants to recommend to engaged couples for rehearsal dinners is Mistral. It’s sophisticated yet intimate private dining room can accommodate up to sixty people for dinner. Known around town for its spectacular and award winning French Mediterranean cuisine and fabulous wine collection, this Bean Town favorite will do whatever it takes to make sure that your rehearsal dinner turns out exactly how you want it to.

Last but certainly not least, Boston’s L’Espalier Restaurant. Located in the heart of Back Bay, L’Espalier’s menu blends French Cuisine with New England’s local specialties. With multiple dining rooms and the ability to customize your menu, L’Espalier will make sure that your Boston wedding rehearsal dinner is unique to you and your wedding.
